WeWrite and O’Neill Sea Odyssey are proud to help Ms. Jody Lust’s 5th grade class from Gault Elementary School, Santa Cruz, California publish their first WeWrite Book by Kids for Kids. The 28 5th-graders have participated in the O’Neill Sea Odyssey Program and will create a story built around what they have learned about taking care of the ocean and Earth.

TwiStories are short histories with a twist of fiction, written by award-winning journalist Wallace Baine, of Santa Cruz, California. WeWrite and Baine collaborate with illustrator Joe Barcelone to bring history to a new level.

A group of kids got together to create a story about moving. The story hits on those elements that are universal to anyone attempting a move.

The book includes tips from professionals for parents on moving and even how to include their kids in the process.

From the incredible imaginations of sixteen young authors from across the country comes this story about dried up food coming to life, leading 10 year-old twins, Brian and Jackie, on an adventure in search of water.

The lessons learned along the way help everyone learn more about conserving one of Earth’s most precious resources.
